TIGA

ISSUE:

Enable users to quickly drop in custom cover and divider pages, without having to do lots of manual editing and formatting.

SOLUTION:

For over a decade, Microsoft Word has had its Quick Parts feature (they also call it Building Blocks). This is a very convenient tool that allows users to save assets within a normal template (one that uses the .dotx file extension).

Users can save blocks of text (e.g. different versions of disclaimers, office addresses), shapes, icons, images and groups of different objects.

TIGA's client had several different cover and divider page options, so the clear choice was to add those options within their Word template. Changing and adding pages is very easy to do, so all the user needs to do is edit the text.
